The Bald Hills, in the Maligne Valley, offers an excellent experience on a mountain accessible to even beginners. The hike itself lasts 5 to 6 hours and, from the summit, we can take in the view of magnificent Maligne Lake, a few glaciers, as well as the Queen Elizabeth Mountain Range.

Total distance of hike: 10-15km
Total elevation gain: 500-650m

The Sulphur Skyline is a hiking trail that allows for most hikers to reach a peak! The sharp mountains in the surrounding area will offer a memorable view.

Summit of Opal Peak
OPAl Peak
The Opal Hills Loop Trail is a more challenging summit adventure, the trail to Opal Peak starts at Maligne Lake behind the historic Curly Philips boathouse and makes it way up through the forest to an alpine meadows. This hike is very steep but during wildflower seasons it is worth the effort and the ocean of mountains viewed from the summit is amazing. (available after July 1)

This challenging tour last from ten to twelve hours and is for the experienced hiker looking for a challenge.
